Sterling Silver Jewellery
Sometimes sterling silver can start to tarnish, this is a natural process which is due to:

Exposure to moisture, humidity,

Exposure to perfume, deodorant, soap, moisturiser, shampoo etc. and cleaning products such as bleach,

Exposure to chlorine,

Perspiration and the PH level of your skin (yes, some people are more acidic than others).
However, the good news is that sterling silver regularly used typically needs less care, so we encourage you to wear your sterling silver jewellery every day.
How to store your jewellery

Store your jewellery in its original pouch, in a cool and dry place (your jewellery deserves a better spot than a bathroom!).

Do not store your sterling silver jewellery next to costume jewellery.

Store jewellery separately so that pieces do not tangle, rub or scratch against each other.
How to clean your jewellery
Clean your jewellery in warm soapy water, rinse it thoroughly and dry it before storing. You can also polish the item with a soft microfibre cloth, this should restore its lustre. If not, get in touch with us and we will clean it up for you.
